In 2020, Yoniben Industries was created as part of a strategic decision by PDB to shift towards the manufacturing sector. This move aimed to provide more value to customers while contributing to the local economy through the creation of employment opportunities. It also helped PDB strengthen its presence in the Angolan market.
In January 2021, the inauguration of our pasta factory in Luanda, Angola marked the commissioning of the first phase of our manufacturing operations. The factory has a daily output capacity of 144 tons.
In April 2023, the second phase of our manufacturing expansion was completed with the commissioning of a 250-ton-per-day corn mill plant.
Currently, the company trades a wide range of commodities, primarily within African regions, and boasts an annual turnover of over USD 100,000,000.
